• The Dodge Power Wagon was a re-purposed wartime design for commercial use. Early brochures describe it as “The Army truck the boys wrote home about.” This truck was purchased new by Darrel G. Dikeman on Oct. 1, 1948 for $2,750. It has spent its entire life on a farm north of Syracuse, KS. Special tanks added in the back could fuel up to 225 gallons of diesel fuel to the D-8 Caterpillars and other equipment around the farm. The truck still sports dents from hunting trips & 3 generations of drivers!
