1962 Chevy Impala SS,
This is an original car that was sold in Russell, Kansas and has been in central Kansas all of it’s life, it underwent a Nut and Bolt Body Off Restoration. Everything in/on this car was restored to Factory Specifications, including the numbers matching 327 250 HP 4 barrel engine, (including the numbers matching carburetor, alternator, distributor, and starter), powerglide automatic transmission, and rear end, interior, and exterior. Factory equipment include power steering, power brakes, and dash grab bar. The exterior is Roman red (the color it was born with) and red interior. The car currently has Cragar SS Wheels with new tires, but included are the original 14″ wheels and original Chevy SS wheelcovers.
VEHICLE CONDITION:
The car is basically new from the wheels up. It has been completely disassembled and restored to new perfect condition. The frame and suspension has been completely rebuilt and detailed with all new parts and hardware. The body was removed from the frame and restored including rust treatment. There was some rust in the original body but all bad metal was cut out and replaced with new metal, welded and rust treatment applied. Every piece of sheet metal was stripped to bare metal, repaired and restored to new condition. All exterior trim has been replaced or restored. All interior parts were replaced or restored to new condition. The engine, transmission and rear end were rebuilt with quality parts, using original GM when possible. In fact this car was restored my a GM dealership. No car is ever perfect but this 1962 IMPALA SS is nicer than it was when new.
